Vector Architects transforms old Chinese disused sugar mill into hotel

Beijing-based architecture practice Vector Architects has transformed an old disused sugar mill into a hotel, keeping the industrial structure of the complex in Yangshuo's mountains. Named Alila Yangshuo, the hotel complex is located near Li River in Guangxi. The site is surrounded by a picturesque natural landscape, located in one of the most typical karst regions.
