Building sector confidence up to 38 points in Q3

© Sergey Nivens – [[www.123rf.com 123RF.com]]</span>After falling to 34 in the second quarter of 2016, the FNB/BER Building Confidence Index increased by four points to 38 in the third quarter. This returns the index to the level recorded in the first quarter. Furthermore, excluding building sub-contractors, all the sub-sectors registered higher confidence in the quarter.
