New study: Solar power tower has less impact on bird populations than expected

After completing the first birdlife-focused study at South Africa's only concentrating solar power tower, HP van Heerden says that it is possible to reduce the impact that concentrating solar power (CSP) towers might have on bird populations by managing the infrastructure well, especially during downtime when it is not generating power.
