David Adjaye reveals design plans for Thabo Mbeki Presidential Library

Clik here to view.Adjaye Associates recently revealed the design plans for the Thabo Mbeki Presidential Library in Johannesburg which will comprise eight cylindirical volumes referencing the structures of granaries in Africa's vernacular architecture. The firm will use locally sourced compressed mud to form a rammed earth facade for these cylindirical volumes.
